What do you do when all of the humans are complaining about all the rain? You let the ducks enjoy it of course!
Seen here are three of our four breeding groups, Silver Appleyards, Saxony and Cayuga. The two solid brown hens are Khaki Campbells, and while we don’t have a Campbell drake for beautiful ducklings, these ladies earn their keep as year round egg layers. They have been raised with my Cayugas, and at hatch times it is easy to know who lays what as Cayugas lay black to light grey eggs while the Campbells lay creamy white eggs.

I can’t thank you enough for all the work you put into raising these chickens and ducks. I’m so glad that after 5yrs of living in Bourne we ventured down your driveway. LOVE LOVE LOVE your eggs. I hope you don’t mind, but when we stop by we usually clean you out of eggs.
