Good Morning!

Chickens are fast, much faster than you’d think.  They run fast, they think fast and they jump fast!!  Duck waddle, they waddle, waddle and waddle some more!  You’d be safe to put your money on a chicken in any race, except an eggs race!  Chickens take a good portion on the year off (part of the Autumn and most of the Winter) from laying, ducks do not.  Most of my ducks lay an egg a day, my chickens on the other hand, are not coping well with the loss of their roosters, and have slowed egg production in recent weeks.  I’m barely able to keep up with my regular customers needs, so sadly, I don’t have any to spare at the moment.

However, the refrigerator is fully stocked with beautiful duck eggs, if you haven’t tried them yet, now is the perfect time! They are higher in protein and fats and the effect they have on your baked goods is incredible!
